Tomorrow is the last day of the Ceramics Annual of America exhibit of contemporary ceramics art at Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion. I know, I know, the weather has been gorgeous and you probably want to spend all of the weekend outside. But, if you do end up in the Marina, playing sports, taking a stroll, or leisurely brunching away, you might as well take an hour to check out the exhibit. Contemporary being the key word here, $10 admission will let you in on a display of art that will definitely make you smile (or grin) and, on occasion, scratch your head… All of the art pieces were for sale, so if you see something you like in the pics, check out the artists’ websites.
Oh, and though I liked quite a few artists, my favorites were the whimsical creations by Tomoko Nakazato and Janis Mars Wunderlich.
